Love May Abound

What’s interesting about this scripture is that Paul wrote this while he was sitting in prison. He was encouraging people he knew to pursue a deeper, expanded understanding of love, especially while he was not there in person.

How can that be? Those would be the darkest times, you would think. That is when our human spirit can get downtrodden pretty quickly. Kind of like the times right now.

And that’s why this is relevant to share.

This message is based on a longer scripture where Paul is suggesting “that our love may abound yet more and more and extend to its fullest development in knowledge and all keen insight… So that you may surely learn to sense what is vital and approve and prize what is excellent of real value…”

He wants us to sort the wheat from the chaff when it comes to love. He is asking us to learn more about real love and what that entails.

And the more we learn about what is truly excellent and of real value, the less time we’ll spend doing things that don’t matter. And we will want to strive to learn the teachings and Wisdom of love. That is where our power truly is.

Blessings of love and light to you today! Be powerful, love more, and learn more.
